"Many people are watching, slowing down because everyone wants to try a lot of Jalan Gubeng. But thank God, the drivers are still moving," said Irvan.
According to Irvan, even though one of the main roads in Surabaya City has been reopened, it still continues to evaluate the traffic flow on Jalan Gubeng.
For this reason, Irvan requested that motorists be better off choosing an alternative route instead of passing Jalan Gubeng which had just been repaired.
"I hope the riders from the south, west and east to avoid this road, so there is no traffic congestion due to narrowing," advises Irvan.
It is also still trying to restore the traffic flow on Jalan Bali and Sumbawa Road, which has not been used for more than a week because of the impact of the Gubeng Road closure.
"At present, we are still focusing on restoring Bali Road and Sumbawa Road, which are currently still being used as parking lots and heavy equipment. If the two roads can be used again, they can automatically break down the density," he concluded.
